After successfully defeating the goblin hordes and routing them from their stronghold, the party tends to the children. Additionally, the party gives the stronghold a good once over search to see what clues as to the reasoning of the goblins can be found. The party is also looking for any hint as to who the man in the red cloak is and what it is that he is doing. After gathering whatever they can, the party carries the children back to their parents in Granmere.

Upon reaching the town and reuniting the children with their parents, Andina tries to gather more information on the man in red from the eldest of the taken children. He relays what happened to poor Embeth as best as he could remember. Basically, the boy did not see anything other than her being taken. The rest of the party decide to warn the rest of the towns and cities in the area against what appears to be a new power coming up on the horizon. Bran sends an owl to Aldusgate, letting his master know what is going on, and the party sets out for Ossel.
