In the first session, both Iliyana and Serideon wandered into the small village of Granmere as it was preparing for the Solstice Festival. While Serideon amused himself by playing with the local children, Iliyana sought out the guard barracks to report some disturbing news from the west of town. In her travels, she came across several burned-out, abandoned farmhouses and heard the sounds of one of the goblin dialects coming from one of the farms. Nala and Zarek heard this news and, after consulting with Bran, a local shop-keep, decided that Sergeant Vargus needed to be informed. Sergeant Vargus commanded a group of volunteers to go investigate. Nala and Vargus brought their Lieutenant Nerantha along, Bran decided to investigate, and Iliyana led the way. On the outskirts of town, the group met up with Serideon, who was standing on a fence post. He thought that the investigation was worthwhile and decided to join in. Unbeknownst to the rest of the party, young Andina, daughter to a respected merchant, followed out to the farm. There, the party was surprised to find a gathering of goblins inside of the farmhouse and a mighty battle ensued. What will the party find after investigating further?
